Thank you Toomas,

That allowed me to change the configuration for my list. In my  
reading over the past several days, I may have seen the solution to  
my problem, but you put it clearly.

Ironically, my first attempts failed because a few lines in the first  
commented section broke to the next line and were interpreted as  
keywords. I recall being able to set the line length in mail clients  
like pine, but I don't see that in my current mail client. Or did  
majordomo break the lines?

Either way, I'm able to change the configuration file. Thanks again
