Caution: majordomo is old & ignorant of MIME enclosures, so if people
post HTML + Ascii, majordomo doesnt append a MIME delimeter before footer,
& footer not visible , though it's there.

Not true, 4rd option exists:
list owners can mail updates in via majordomo using list password.
