List rename issue

I'm working with a customer to rename one of their mail lists due to an
issue with spam. We currently have everything set up to work. I've set
myself up as the only user on the new list so as not to bombard the
other users with my test messages. When I send mail I get a response. No
problem there.

The issue I'm having right now is that a new maillist.html file was
created instead of my messages being tacked onto the existing file. I've
copied over the old one and if I refresh the page it is there with all
the old messages. But, if I send another message after that, the new
list is displayed with all of the test messages I sent but none of the
old messages. Even after wiping it out with the old one time and time
again it still shows up with all (and only) the test messages in the list.

Where is that being pulled from that it would always display the
overwritten data? I've changed over the threads.html file as well. The
only discrepancy I've been able to uncover as someone that hasn't dug
this far into majordomo before is that the new files are being created
as owned by listname:listname instead of listname:majordomo. Where do I
need to fix that?
