Subject prefix stripping not working in multi-charset mail

We have a list some of whose posters access in greek, posting in the iso-8859-7 charset. For these posters, we get subject lines converted to embedded iso-8859-7, and the subject_prefix is not recognized for matching. Is there anything you or we can do about this?
