I've been putting my changes in DEFAULT. Thanks for the heads up on that.

Ah. I looked a few of those dot files, but the ones I looked at didn't make me
realize that they were that important. Now I'm getting the 'doing it the wrong
way' vibe. Am I truly doing it the wrong way, and is there a better way in
which the dot files will be generated as well?
