Re-visiting this topic: I noticed that spamassasin uses procmail.  I did
some testing with procmail a while back.  The filters didn't seem to
work when the message was going to an alias vs. an actual account on the
system.  Perhaps I've missed something.  Any inputs from the
spamassassinators?.

I'm having great luck just running spamassassin; at ten points I reject,
and at five I greylist and mark if it makes it through.  I run exim so I
have a lot of control over the process.
