I haven't seen any replies so I guess Marc wasn't explicit enough. Marc G. Fournier wrote: > Is there a setting that I can set to turn this off? I don't think it's a setting -- I think it's a bug. For a more detailed explanation of the problem, see this thread on the [email protected] list (handled by Majordomo; Marc is the admin there, he could show version numbers, etc) http://archives.postgresql.org/pgsql-advocacy/2006-09/msg00063.php Note that the point here is that the archives are getting a mail with a subject that is shorter than what Bruce Momjian has on his sent-mail folder. The reply to that message contains more pointers to the archives mbox, etc (that message haven't made it to the archives at this time ... it will be there shortly). Note that the very same thread where this is being discussed suddenly has a truncated subject at a point. I commented more on http://archives.postgresql.org/pgsql-advocacy/2006-09/msg00060.php (same thread, a bit earlier). It contains a description of a different bug. Any ideas? -- Alvaro Herrera http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/DXLWNGRJD34J "Crear es tan difĂcil como ser libre" (Elsa Triolet)
