Reported by one of our users:

I've noticed that when discarding html attachments from a Content-Type: 
multipart/related part, the relationship is broken, and the Content-Type 
should be changed to  multipart/mixed. but isn't.

This shows up for me when reading in Mail.app (macintosh), the image 
attachments are not shown inline, as is the default for Mail.app.
