I can't tell you how many people try to send a message to a list and screw it up because they send to listname-owner instead of to listname. Every message they receive from the list has this header: Sender: [email protected] Also, I saw this setting # sender (level 1) # The sender configuration setting contains an e-mail address which is # used internally by Majordomo when informational documents, confirmation # instructions, and other notices are mailed in response to a Majordomo # command or a posted message. configset frambors sender = $LIST-owner I realize that there are a number of broken mailers out there that don't use From and instead use Sender instead when figuring out who a Reply should go to. Does the sender setting above help or is that also going to impact every other time that an automatic message gets sent? I don't want to use ReplyTo. Or, is there some way to cause the Sender header to have the listname if it's a message from the list? TIA -- Time flies like the wind. Fruit flies like a banana.
