Hi, I am using Emacs 23 with the latest CVS version of Mew. With this version of Emacs, Mew systematically uses utf-8 as soon as it sees a single accented char like "é" while Emacs 22 was using iso-8859-1 whenever possible (with the same config file). How can I teach Emacs 23 to use iso-8859-1 (or iso-8859-15) if possible ? (Unfortunately, some of my friends' mailers do not display well utf-8.) A happy user of Mew for 8 years ! Best, ChriS
