Hi Alan - I think it should come out looking like that in the To: line if you hit tab-escape-tab immediately after typing "jdo".  Hope that helps!

By the way, if I have something like the following in my Addrbook

     jd  [email protected]   johnny  "John Doe"

is there some easy way I can get the To: address in draft mode to  
look like this?

     To: John Doe <[email protected]>
