The problematic message was moved into another folder and I now got Debugger entered--Lisp error: (args-out-of-range 1229761 1428417) mew-summary-save(nil) call-interactively(mew-summary-save nil nil) Unfortunately, it does not happen all the time. Maybe it is a bad interaction with other modes. I'll keep investigating when I encounter the problem again. Best, C.
