I am up to date with the trunk.  z v works on certain messages though,
not just on the one I forwarded.  If it matters, I use

 GNU Emacs 23.4.1 (x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.24.10)
 of 2012-04-07 on trouble, modified by Debian
