Hi folks,

We are pleased to announce the release of Mulberry v4.0a8 for Linux &=20
Solaris only (the Mac OS X and Win32 versions have not been updated). This=20
is the first release in the v4 series for the unix version and incorporates =

all the changes currently available in the Mac/Win32 versions. It has been=20
designated 'a8' to keep the version number in sync with features in the=20
Mac/Win32 release.

Please note that we are no longer supporting the old RedHat 5.x version. We =

have however added a RedHat 9 version that will work on that linux release=20
plus newer ones. Note that the new anti-aliased text feature is currently=20
available on OS versions supporting the Xft library - RedHat 9 and YDL 3=20
(PPC).

Preliminary calendaring documentation is now available, though it is=20
incomplete in some areas:

Note this is an alpha release so we are looking for bug reports and other=20
feedback. There are also still some major features to be added over the=20
next few months.
