Mulberry unable to find preferences on reinstalled Mac

I just reinstalled my Macbook and recovered my home dir from a backup. When I now start Mulberry it asks me for my configuration, though there still is my mulberry configuration in Library/Preferences. What can I do to not have to enter everything again by hand?
