To put it bluntly, it's a *lot* of work for a very small payoff. While the
core IMAP support is most likely fine, the rest of the software development
world has moved on. So Mulberry would need an entirely new user interface
built on top of a different user interface library for three major platforms.
macOS is the hardest because the entire underlying UI framework Mulberry was
using has only existing in backward compatibility mode for over a decade, and
Apple will soon remove it altogether from future macOS versions.

Actually, arguably starting is easy. It's finishing that's hard. I can't
afford to give up my day job for this; I'm sure Cyrus and others can't either.
