Mutt Bug Tracking System Frozen.

Hello,

you may have noted that the mutt bug tracking system has been
non-functional over the past weeks to months.

Essentially, the BTS has collapsed under the spam thrown at it. With
sufficient and steady care and feeding, it might have been possible
to survive the spam assault.  With the amount of care and feeding
that I have been able to invest into the BTS, though, it had become
a liability that was threatening the operatoinal stability of the
server it was running on.

As of 2100 GMT today, bugs.guug.de returns any and all e-mail
messages with a "service unavailable" bounce message.

It is not clear to me what the best way forward for managing mutt
bugs would be.  Obviously, the e-mail based approach we have been
using so far is not an option at this point.

I would welcome your input on this on the mutt-dev list.  I'd be
particularly interested to hear from volunteers who might be able to
host and manage alternative bug tracking systems.

For the moment, please direct any mutt reports to the public mailing
lists, mutt-dev and mutt-users.
