Thank you for posting here. I think this is reasonable. I've heard others in the past voice similar questions about how to "just" collapse or uncollapse instead of toggling. I remember the code being a little intertwined, but I'll create a feature request on GitLab and start looking into this. Perhaps we need to create new functions, since we can't easily change the old behavior without breaking a lot of configs.
