I wouldn't vote for dropping support for the older variants, because 
they aren't doing any harm right now, and it's surprising how many 
people are still using even Tokyo Cabinet!

I'll take a look at the tkrzw version.  If it's modeled on the other 
two, it shouldn't be that hard to add.
