Hello!
I'm writing you to ask you one important question...
I'm quite not very familiar with perl, so maybe someone will have an easy
answer.
The fact is, I used the install script to configure my NeoMail (ver 1.26)
but changed the /var/neomail files' owner to apache in order to be able to
run the checklogin.pl
(Before this, It was returning exit 1 status every time I tried to log in)
But, now I'm unable to use the program without commenting these lines
#unless ( cookie("sessionid") eq $cookie) {
# writelog("attempt to hijack session $thissession!");
# neomailerror("$lang_err{'inv_sessid'}");
#}
in both .pl files, because if I don't I always get this warning
"Your request didn't contain the proper session ID cookie -- access
denied!"
when I'm trying to move anywhere after the authentication step.
I didn't do any changes when installing the program (except the
apache-owner thing)
The 2 neo*.pl scripts are in /cgi-bin/ and the rest in /var/neomail. I'm
running mandrake 9.1 with perl 5.8.0 and this happens in various browsers
(Tried Mozilla, Opera and M$ Explorer...)
Thanks, Matej
