Shalom!
Although I have been using NeoMail at our site for several years, I am
building a new mail server and, as I do a fresh install of (upgrading to)
Neomail-1.27, I want to change the default signature block (it doesn't really
suck so much) to one which reflects our organization and the user.
Although 15+ years as a Unix sysadmin, I am a non-programmer, and have managed
to edit the code in /cgi-bin/neomail-prefs.pl to read:
$prefs{"signature"} = "-- \n$user\@mail.iucc.ac.il\nhttp://www.iucc.ac.il";
HOWEVER, I cannot get it to do anything with $username...
$prefs{"signature"} = "--
\n$username\n$user\@mail.iucc.ac.il\nhttp://www.iucc.ac.il";
gives a blank line between "--" and "[email protected]"
Can anyone help?
