For the past couple of months at least 3 Neomail users (including myself) are anxious to know if SENT folder retrieval is possible thru a pop server, or this is a definite limitation of the software. I am reproducing these messages to kindly provoque any opinion of the older ( more experienced) users. Thanks in advance Claudio Habert Rio, Brazil ================ > Today's Topics: > > 1. I'm offering NeoMail as a webmail option for a group of non-technical users and in writing set-up and use instructions, I've not found a way for users to easily download their sent messages. Most users will have POP not IMAP accounts and will want to store their mail locally. Has anyone a method for retrieving, saving, or exporting sent messages? Many thanks, BB ======================================= Message: 1 Date: Sat, 31 Jan 2004 11:42:12 -0200 From: "Claudio Habert" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Subject: [Neomail-users] Moving messages from SENT folder ? I am a NeoMail version 1.25 user (through my ISP provider) and I have been wondering how to move the content of my SENT folder to my INBOX. The reason is that I would like to keep a copy in my computer of my sent messages, and of course reduce the size of my folders kept in the ISP mail server. Right now I have about 14 Mb of messages (with attachments) in my SENT folder, sent out during the past year. How to proceed in order to import them? I can't just forward them to myself: I would loose completely the status of each message (to/from/date)when they reach the inbox, and after retrieval, future managing would be hard. Alternatively, I thought that my provider could sent me the folder content as a file, however they say it can't be done. The same problem arise if one uses other folders. My Neomail does not allow moving messages to INBOX. I would appreciate and thank in advance any help/suggestions.
