session timeout

-- when writing a long message, then pushing send, often "session timeout" appears telling me to go back and login...but when I click "login", it just sends me back to my in box...why does this happen??? and how do I log back in with out losing my message??? I keep wasting my time writing letters, then losing them!!!!! HELP!!!!
