Software error (newbie here)

Hi,
I tried to install Neomail and I've got this message:
Software error:
Can't locate neomail.conf in @INC (@INC contains: 
/usr/lib/perl5/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5 
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/i386-linux 
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl 
/var/neomail) at /var/www/cgi-bin/neomail.pl line 
37.

I have:
Linux slackware 8.0
I tried to change the places where neomail.conf 
lives and tried to change the path in line 37, but 
it didn't work....

I would appreciate any help possible.
