Localhost relay

This is probably a sendmail tweak and not anything to do with Neomail.. but 
I think I shall ask anyway.

Any time somebody uses neomail to send an email, it sends it from 
localhost, and sendmail sees the relay as 127.0.0.1 as shown in the below 
log of an email sent with neomail:

This is all fine, and I can just allow localhost to relay email, but 
recently Im noticing that some spam filters will see email with localhost 
in the headers and just nuke it, and Im starting to get a lot of spammers 
trying to relay junk through me and they are beginning to scare me with 
their attempts to spoof mail from me, to others, and let my mail server 
relay the fake bounce with localhost as the sender. = (    I want to add 
localhost back in to the /etc/mail/access as a REJECT.

Is there a way for localy generated email to be identified as coming from 
my actual IP and not 127.0.0.1  ?

Its probably in sendmail somewhere and Im just missing the right line...
