Sorry for the email problems hopefully this is better. . 

You said you don't get the errors when you run the neomail.pl from the 
site listed below?  

I tested it again from here and it got as far as my inbox.  I can read the 
mail.  None of the navigation buttons inside of neomail work.  For 
example, after I read a message, and click the folder to get back to 
inbox, I get the server error.  Or if I try to move any messages to the 
trash, or any other folder.

You mentioned below about manually patching neomail but I am not a 
programmer and don't know what to do to it to fix it.  I can read the 
neomail.pl.patch file but I have no idea which parts are the patch 
and which parts are actually what goes into the neomail.pl script.

P.S. Torsten, sorry for the email confusion. . .  I'm using pine for email 
until I get neomail working and it handles things a bit different in 
replies. . .  Hopefully you won't get duplicates anymore. . .
