Beginner needs help sorting email: neomail list-serve

I feel awful dumb, but will swallow pride because need to be able to 
sort incoming email.

Using another system (Juno), it was easy to set up folders into which 
my email would automatically flow, as long as the send put certain 
words or tags in the subject line.    

But I see no way to accomplish that (at least I don't see it yet) with 
neomail.   So how does such a high powered system as neo mail handle 
this simple little problem?  

Please help, listers, a dumb and frustrated novice, who might 
otherwise become innundated with mail in one big folder...don't have 
time to sort it all by hand.
