Probably ;-)
Log in, create a message, select an attachment.
Now select NEW -> to select a new attachment.
The first attachment should be uploaded now.

Now take a look in /var/neomail/
You should see there the attachment.
In my case:

-rw-rw----    1 root     nogroup        13 Nov  5 01:18
torsten-session-0.909146001403318
-rw-rw----    1 root     nogroup      2.2K Nov  5 01:18
torsten-session-0.909146001403318-att0
