O.k. we try to isolate the problem:
(Is it possible to see the addressbook without
calling javavscript)

Login to your neomail, go to Preferences.

Now your URL in the browser should look like this:
https://server/neomail-prefs.pl?sessionid=torsten-session-0.385913514372991&sort=date&folder=INBOX&firstmessage=1

Now replace in the URL
sort=date&folder=INBOX&firstmessage=1

with
action=addressbook

So you have
https://server/neomail-prefs.pl?sessionid=torsten-session-0.385913514372991&action=addressbook

Now hit the enter button.
You should see now the content of your addressbook.
