But, it's not used yet (widely anyway), and there's nothing forcing people to use it - so it's not much use at the moment. I suppose it just becomes another reason not to have 'mail-ng', but just an 'SMTPV2' ;-) If something like SPF was a mandatory part of SMTPV2 (along with 8 bit data transfer, user authentication, etc) then I think there'd be much less requirement to have a totally new protocol Paul VPOP3 - Internet Email Server/Gateway [email protected] http://www.pscs.co.uk/
