I've configured to use /usr/local/bin/inc every 5min to pull things into my MH inbox. I can then use the GUI to view and send emails. It does not use /usr/local/bin/comp to send messages. I don't know if you can configure to do so. Basically I send email locally, and my postfix configuration sends out through my mail service at acm.org.
