Also it would be nice to be able to point Thunderbird at the inbox for those times when I really need to render the HTML part better than mh-e can do. Also calendar entries. So I would run an IMAP server on my desktop, maybe on ::1. And I have public IPv6 on my desktop, so maybe I would open it to world for smartphone.
