Hi,

Actually when you mention pop3 I have seen the same on our Linux
installation running version 1.18, the perdition process will just
completely die. It is however very uncommon for us, and we don't have a
lot of pop3 users anymore, so my attempts to try to narrow it down ended
in me giving up cause I could not trigger it by myself.

We also had a: Client -> perdition -> perdition -> Cyrus setup for a
while when we migrated an old server and when the bug triggered,
perdition on both servers would die.

greetings
JS
