I'm still getting the same error message on startup. I thought maybe 
"Development tools" group might need installed, but that didn't help.

Using that particular repo, the only package installed is "perdition". I 
see other packages for different flavors of libperditiondb, but nothing 
particular to gdbm, so I'll try all of the libperditiondb  packages to 
see if one of those has the library in it.
