I don't know enough to help, or even say if this is relevant; but in case
it is, you might wish to know that there is a long thread, still in
progress, on comp.mail.pine about running multiple pine accounts on
multiple machines from one master account. 

The thread is called "Can you merge pines?" and began (with a post under
that title by me) on 3/13/06. If what Nancy McGough is walking me through
isn't overkill for you, it might be something you can use when it's done
-- or you may be able to guess the rest from where we are now, with the
master account configured and only the slaves needing work.
