Pine not saving messages all the time

Hi all, I have a user who is experiencing an intermittent problem with pine 4.64. When he saves a message to a folder from his inbox (using (s) and then typing the folder name), it only saves it about 50% of the time. The other 50%, the message gets marked for deletion in his inbox, but doesn't appear in the folder. If he repeats the save command on the same message, it will work 100% of the time. I've tried to replicate this behaviour with my account but I am unable to. I thought it could be a problem in his .pinerc file, but I've used his exact .pinerc with my account and was unable to reproduce the problem. The only difference is that he has 2900 mail folders versus 225 for me. The IMAP server is dovecot 1.0-beta3 using Maildirs running on RedHat Enterprise 4, and the client is pine 4.64 running on RedHat Enterprise 4 (a different machine than the server). Does anyone have any idea on what the problem is, or what I can do to try and find out what it is?
