Hello All, Has anyone else encountered this behavior? Sometimes, when opening an IMAP mail folder, the IMAP connection will simply stall out. I get the "[ Sorting (spin) ]" twirling progress meter at first and then 15 sec updates on the cumulative wait time ([Waited 45 sec for server...]), but the operation stalls indefinitely. I've waited several minutes, but it never completes. It happens for my INBOX, but also some other incoming message folders where mail gets filtered before I can read it. Once I happens, I can reproduce the error by quitting and starting pine, again. But, I can fix the problem by using a different client (SquirrelMail) to open the IMAP folder, quitting that. and then pine works just fine. We're using pine 4.62 on Solaris 5.9 and Sun (Java) Messaging Server 6 (2005Q1, I think). I've attached a debug session using a high debug level. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Paul DeStefano P.S. Ironically, I postponed this message after attaching my debug file and, when I went to retrieve it from the postponed-msgs folder, it happened there, too, but with out the sorting operation. Could this be related to large messages? I've notice considerable delays with multi-megabyte files, before, but I thought they eventually load okay...maybe they don't. -- Paul DeStefano <pdestefa(ta)willamette.edu> System Programmer/Network Serv.
