Sounds right to me. On Windows, when you start a graphical application 
like Netscape, control returns to the program that started it before the 
application terminates. You can see this by running netscape from the 
command line; you will get the command prompt back very quickly, probably 
before the Netscape window even appears.

I think that the windows "start.exe" command has an option to wait until 
the process finishes. Try running "start /wait netscape.exe" instead of 
just running netscape.exe.

If not, you could try writing a batch file that copies the attachment to a 
temporary directory and then runs Netscape on the copy, so it doesn't 
matter if Pine deletes the original.

By the way, Pine developers, trimming a long email using Pico's ^K command 
is quite painful, and I usually end up cutting too much by mistake and 
having to paste it all back and try again. Any plans for visual selection 
in Pico, like Vi's "v...d" command? (otherwise I might switch to vi as my 
default editor).
