*** Cornelius C. Noack ([email protected]) wrote in the...: :) But now I have another (related) question: is there a way to search/filter :) incoming mail in PINE with a kind of regular expression? There is a categorizer command in the definition of the filter which would allow you to feed a message to a program and make the program return success or failure through an exit code. You could feed the message to a script a get the subject out and check any condition on it. Some problems you may run into are encoded subjects, your filter may need to decode subjects before you decide if the message matches your criteria, so watch for that before you decide to write your filter. -- Eduardo Patches/Help: http://www.math.washington.edu/~chappa/pine/ XML/RSS feed: http://www.math.washington.edu/~chappa/pine/pine.xml Please send spam to webmaster@localhost _______________________________________________ Pine-info mailing list [email protected] http://mailman1.u.washington.edu/mailman/listinfo/pine-info
