Hello Family,

Well, I went and installed (without remembering) a Debian based version
of Linux called not Kubuntu, or Ubuntu but it's new affiliate called
Edubuntu.

Anyway, off the PINE site grabbed a "deb" based version and I still
have
an error with a dependency I can't seem to satisfy. Not sure if I
really need this lib, it sounds very "ssl" (ish) and I won't be needing
that with how I use PINE.

Here is the error:

#######################################

root@edubuntu:~# dpkg -i pine_4.64_i386.deb

Selecting previously deselected package pine.
(Reading database ... 101583 files and directories currently
installed.)

Unpacking pine (from pine_4.64_i386.deb) ...
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of pine:

pine depends on libssl0.9.7; however:

 Package libssl0.9.7 is not installed.

dpkg: error processing pine (--install):
 dependency problems - leaving unconfigured

Errors were encountered while processing:
 pine

root@edubuntu:~#
