There is an example in the pine help of what I think you have in mind. In 
Pine go to

Setup/Rules/Filters

Add a new filter or edit and existing one and look for

External Categorizer Commands

Type '?' for Help and you will see in the 4th paragraph an example which 
you can look at. The example uses the bogofilter bayes filter.
