*** Poohba ([email protected]) wrote in the pine-info list...: :) How do I keep my inbox from deleting? Once I started using Pine, my :) INBOX is no longer available via Evolution or other IMAP programs. I :) think I saw a message about it converting something to mbox or :) something. I don't want that. I want to keep my inbox the way that it :) was. This sounds like messages are being moved out of inbox. Since you mention IMAP, I will assume that you use Pine and all other program thorugh IMAP. If this is the case, this can happen as a consequence of * a Filter, which you set up and did that. * or when you close Pine, messages are saved automatically to some folder. For this to happen you must have enabled [X] auto-move-read-msgs If this does not describe your situation, it might be that you have a file called "mbox" in your main directory. If that is the case, move it to the mail/ directory (or collection) and copy all messages from there to your inbox, then remove the mbox file.
