Hi everyone, So I figured out that my ~/.mailcap file is not being read by pine, but rather the one in /etc >From there, I modified the .mailcap file to read text/html; open -a /Applications/Firefox.app %s and firefox now opens up hmtl attachments! However, I am experiencing a strange problem.. Certain html emails that I receive which have lots of attached images, are not being rendered properly. For example, I will open an email and see something like: 2.2 OK 74 KB Image 2.3 OK 34 KB Image 2.4 OK 31 KB Image 2.5 OK 26 KB Image 2.6 OK 39 KB Image 2.7 OK 23 KB Image 2.8 OK 35 KB Image 2.9 OK 25 KB Image 2.10 OK 11 KB Image 2.11 OK 34 KB Image 2.12 OK 16 KB Image 2.13 OK 50 KB Image 2.14 OK 10 KB Image 2.15 OK 71 KB Image 2.16 OK 16 KB Image 2.17 OK 11 KB Image 2.18 OK 25 KB Image 2.19 OK 26 KB Image 2.20 OK 57 KB Image 2.21 OK 26 KB Image ---------------------------------------- And I will manually have to move down and select each [IMAGE] link and hit return and have my image viewer open it. This becomes tedious and makes me not want to look at all the photos being sent to me. I was hoping that viewing the HTML attachment would solve this problem, however, the images are not showing up.. and if I view the source of the html, the img code is stuff like: IMG src="cid:320097D1-2C6C-4550-A81F-2E75C759279C@local" -- which it seems firefox doesn't know what to do with.. So I am wondering if anyone has any knowledge on how to solve this? Thank you very much. Patrick J.
