I just created a filter & tried it to do as you suggest, looked for any possible failure. It works for any folder I am in, even if manual eXpunge is pressed after Delete. It even deletes & expunges properly for the Trash folder, an eventual need. Now just pressing Delete does it all! Great idea guy - thanks for waking me up to think! > On Tue, 17 Apr 2007, Ross wrote: >> On Mon, 16 Apr 2007, Jason wrote: >>> Is there a way to configure pine so that when it expunges it actually >>> moves messges to a "Trash" folder rather than deleting them completely? >>> I'd like to emmulate the way Thunderbird handles deletes since I sometimes >>> delete mail by accident. >> >> That would be a great update, like many others of course, for a 4.65 >> version of Pine/PC-Pine.
