I'd prefer to have Pine access mail locally instead of using IMAP. Since mail is delivered to ~/Maildir, there is no need for Pine to establish a network connection at all. Our IMAP server is running dovecot - not my choice - and the folders created through that are prefixed with a "." I'm just wondering if Pine can mimic this behavor.
