Re: Pine and Maildir

You could do this, but Pine doesn't play nicely with other MUAs.  If,
for example you have Thunderbird accessing the same mail files as Pine,
Pine will re-open the files read-only.  Is there any reason you don't
want Pine using IMAP?  My mail server is the same system where I read
mail and I use local IMAP to access it with Pine and I use T-bird when I
get something with attachments, links, etc.  I probably split 50/50
between the mailers and it's seamless.
