Creating IMAP mailboxes

Hi,

Setup is Pine 4.64, Cyrus 2.3.8_1, FreeBSD.  I have the basic IMAP setup 
working, Pine is successfully retrieving mail from my INBOX on the local 
machine ({localhost}INBOX).  However I'm having trouble creating folders 
on the IMAP server.  So far the folders I have created are all on the 
local file system.

I'm trying the Add function on the "Local folders in mail/" screen.  A 
folder name of "{localhost}INBOX/test" gives me [Invalid folder name]. 
"{localhost}test" gives me "Permission denied".  The latter sounds like 
the right choice, but in that case how do I grant myself the right to add 
folders?

Any help or pointers to documentation appreciated.  I've not found 
anything so far.
