Pine and Exchange2007?

My company recently upgraded to Exchange2007.  As a result I've been
seeing all sorts of weirdness in pine.  I'm running 4.64 compiled for
cygwin.  I'm using imap to read mail with

    inbox-path={exchange/ssl/novalidate-cert/user=username}inbox

when I try to save messages it gives an error about the message
changing size.  When I delete a message and then expunge it, sometimes
the message does not disappear until I restart pine.  At other times
it shows a message with no header in the display (as a blank line).
Usually when one of these errors occurs no new messages are ever shown
in the interface.

Are these known problems?  Are others using Exchange2007 with Pine?
Are there any known workarounds?
