Replying to emails in pine refuses to word wrap

Hi all,

Using a new version of pine, I can read messages, and the messages are 
word wrapped.

But when I hit "r", and then "y" to include the original message, each 
paragraph of the original message is stretched out on a single line.  This 
only happens for certain emails, but MOST of the emails coming into my 
mailbox are like this.  Is there a way to have pine word wrap and carrot 
the replies?

Here is an example:


Message comes in as:

Hi Matt,

How are you?  Hope life is good.  Life has been busy for me.  How is your 
holiday going?  Well, I hope to talk to you soon!

Bye!

-Jim
---


When I reply, I'd expect as the quoted reply:


---
>Hi Matt,

>How are you?  Hope life is good.  Life has been busy for me.  How is your 
>holiday going?  Well, I hope to talk to you soon!
>
>Bye!
>

But instead I get:


---
>Hi Matt,
>

I hope your email client shows what I'm talking about.  In the previous 
snipet, the entire body is on a single line.
