To avoid the pinerc file edit hassle; in Pine MainMenu-Setup-Config find: [X] expose-hidden-config after activating that & exiting, return to find: disable-these-authenticators = <No Value Set> Plus a lot more stuff! Is the 465 port number in SMTP-server entry really required for Linux? I understand 465 as default SSL port, & Pine is aware.
